APTERA STRINGS
Aptera Strings are a collective of active professional musicians in Chicago. We specialize as flexible performers in command of a large repertoire and the ability to perform any style of music in almost any location. We can provide ensembles as small as a duo and as large as a chamber orchestra.
Our musicians have played on stage and in recordings with a wide array of performances including Yo-Yo Ma, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mannheim Steamroller, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Kid Koala, Dan the Automator, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Deltron 3030, Mucca Pazza, Noname, Chicago Composer’s Orchestra, Dubuque Symphony, Bozeman Symphony, and more.
Apart from classical music, we arrange contemporary popular music, classic rock, and jazz for our clients. In addition to violin, viola and cello, we offer guitar, bass, harp, accordion and piano music in any combination. Let us bring an elegant Bridgerton or movie soundtrack vibe to your event!
